About The Event
Take part in this reading group and urbanism series that celebrates the launch of Main Street: How A City’s Heart Connects Us All by Essex County’s own Mindy Thompson Fullilove, MD. This interactive reading group will bring together Essex county residents to explore, celebrate and examine our Main Streets. We will think about what forms the Main Streets that we love and what connects them all, and we will learn how to advocate for our Main Streets to thrive and support our collective life and health. A community walk called "The Future of Our Main Streets" will take place on Wed, Oct 21 as an offshoot of this series.
Ages 12+
Host:
University of Orange, a community organization and free people’s urbanism school that builds collective capacity for people to create more equitable cities.
