Through our ongoing PPE Donation Drive, our community has already donated over 200 N95 masks, 5,100 gloves and 10 pairs of eye protection. With your help, this much-needed equipment is now protecting frontline healthcare workers at our local hospitals. Thank you!
In late March, a local product engineer and his colleagues stepped up in the most unexpected way. Working with trusted suppliers, they arranged for the shipments of 8,000 masks to Montclair. When the first shipment of 350 arrived, we were their first stop. The next day, they went right to our town’s first responders.
This humble band of superheroes wants to bring even more masks to our #mdwppedonationdrive, but they need our help. This is their story:
"We are a team of professionals working in the consumer products industry, and have been making products in China for the past 20 years. We are leveraging our extensive, trusted network of manufacturing partners to source hard-to-find protective equipment for those on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. We’ve identified a reliable supplier who can manufacture much-needed KN95 masks, which provide the same protection as the N95 masks. As our thank you to Montclair Design Week for their PPE donation efforts, we’re dedicating 4,000 of the first 8,000 masks to Montclair’s first responders."
